Meet Our Supervising Physician and Co-founder: Dr. Michael Lafkas
Educational Background and Experience
Dr. Lafkas has been practicing medical aesthetics since 2004. He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a BS in Biochemistry and then finished his Medical School training at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in 1997 before completing his residency in Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
Expertise in Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers
Dr. Lafkas has been injecting neurotoxins and dermal fillers for over 20 years. He has been a speaker trainer for Allergan and has instructed and trained hundreds of nurses in Botox and dermal filler injection technique. He has trained in both CME-accredited and non-accredited settings since 2006.

Dr. Lafkas has performed tens of thousands of treatments over the past 20 plus years, and Aluma Medical Aesthetics has now achieved a Top 10 in the Nation ranking by Allergan which places it in the top 1/10th of 1% of Allergan accounts in the USA.
